American Flyer gondola cars are a dime a dozen, so why keep running them empty? 

Add more realism and uniqueness to your railroad with detailed gondola loads that bring your freight trains to life. Loose material load inserts featuring coal, ballast, and red iron ore give your trains a true working railroad appearance, while the I-Beam load adds an industrial touch to any train or rail yard. The flatcar crate loads also fit nicely in gondolas for even more variety.

Each load is individually hand made, so no two are exactly alike — just like on a real railroad. The natural variations in texture and appearance help create a more realistic look throughout your freight consist.

These inserts are designed for a firm, secure fit and are intended to be a more permanent addition to your freight cars. Once installed, they give your frieght car and trains as a whole a more realistic, fully-loaded appearance that adds depth and authenticity to any collection or layout.
