Attention Visitors: Due to a recent injury I have not been able to complete the website to the full extent. Please reach out with any questions.
I fondly remember the time I spent in my grandfather's basement when I was young, playing with my father's American Flyer train set. This early fascination grew into a lifelong passion. As I got older, my father passed the set down to me, allowing me to start collecting and expanding the layout. We frequently visited local hobby shops and train shows to purchase new engines and rolling stock, steadily growing my collection over the years.
My passion for these S-Gauge trains continues today, focusing particularly on creating custom loads and accessories for American Flyer cars. I love taking those empty hoppers, flatcars, and gondolas and making them more visually interesting and realistic as the train rolls by. I invite you to check out my different custom products throughout this site.
Beyond the world of model railroading, I am a middle school art teacher with a deep passion for the arts and for empowering my students. I challenge them to take charge of their learning, explore their creativity, and become stronger, more confident learners.
When I'm not teaching or working on the trains, you can find me engaged in a few unique side pursuits. I also work as a Zamboni Ice Resurfacer operator, and I spend time fixing outdoor power equipment.
I am a member of the CT S-Gaugers and the NASG.
I created the custom loads for the 2026 S-Spree convention car, hosted by the Pittsburgh S-Gaugers and held May 29–30 in Washington, PA. The official S-Spree car was a prototypically numbered Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railway flatcar. For the release I produced an S-Spree exclusive crankshaft load that was carefully designed using prototype photographs and reference drawings. In addition, my detailed rebar loads were offered to be purchased with the S-Spree cars.
My welded rail car won First Place in the American Flyer Imagineering contest at the 2025 NASG convention in Norwich, Connecticut.
